Brief Description:  Aft fuselage wire runs

Today I devoted the entire session to preparing for riveting the aft skin by securing all of the wiring that runs between the seat bulkhead and through the aft baggage bulkhead. This involved a lot of drilling for bushings, attaching Adel clamps, and ensuring that all wiring was clear of any control cables or pushrods. I also ensured that the RG 400 running to the GPS antenna was routed separately from the wiring going to the tail light.

As the pictures show, the GTN 625 cable runs up the center section and then aft to the antenna location, this required several Adel clamps to hold everything clear of the structure. To run the tail light wiring, I had enlarge several tooling holes to 3/8”, route the wiring up through the baggage bulkhead and then forward to the seat ribs where I will attach all of the leads to a terminal block. The left side wiring had already been routed beneath the baggage compartment, so I only had to secure everything with Adel clamps and zip ties. After completing this, the only thing left to install in the aft fuselage was the ELT antenna and associated cabling.
