Scuffed all surfaces with a ScotchBrite pad, then cleaned everything thoroughly. I started to work with the ProSeal, but quickly gave up in frustration. When I sealed the left tank, I used a pre-measured tube in a gun. This time, I decided to "save" some money and go with a can that I mixed myself. Here's the problem...by the time you get this stuff mixed together, it is everywhere...and I mean everywhere! Then, you have to put it into a ziploc bag and hope you've mixed enough up...nope, not enough to even get started. Now what? Throw the mess away, go watch basketball, and purchase the premixed tubes from SealPak when I get back from the Thanksgiving break. Sound like a plan. I don't understand why anyone would build a $70,000+ aircraft and try to save a few bucks here...buy the tubes!!!
