Brief Description:  Prop and mixture cable installation

I was about due for a hangar session abbreviated by work calls and challenges. Today's primary task was to get the prop and mixture cables through the firewall, and in spite of the interruptions, I got both of them at least partially installed.

I had previously purchased two more "eyeball" style cable assemblies, and since I had some challenges installing the throttle cable, I used the paper template to make a small aluminum drill guide to ensure that my holes were in the exact correct spot. That worked like a champ, and in pretty short order I had both assemblies at least loosely installed.

The mixture cable attaches at the throttle body, so that cable continues down and forward once it passes through the firewall, but the prop cable does a sweeping turn to the right and attaches to the governor mounted on the aft part of the engine. I had to pull the governor off in order to get a bracket installed on the back, but when I found out that it would require some safety wiring, I decided to leave it for the next session.
