Before I started working on the fiberglass tips, I decided to finish up a couple of odds and ends on the canopy. Since the weather has cooled off, I can't do any more drilling or countersinking for awhile, but there were a few little things that I needed to finish up. The aft slider bracket needed to be trimmed to prevent excess rubbing on the top skin, so a couple of quick passes on the bandsaw and a little grinding and that was done. I made a couple of spacers for the aft canopy tracks and attached the screws that remained there. I still need to lower the front of the frame a little bit before I attach the aft locking blocks, but that will have to be a job for another day.
