After eight months of inactivity (at least on the RV project) I dove back in the only way I know how...to stand around and wonder what I was working on last, and trying to figure out what to do next. "Don't ruin anything" is a pretty good starting point, so I cleaned the hangar for about half an hour.
When I finally started working, I decided to do a couple of odds and ends that had been left unfinished, so I first got out the torque wrench and torqued the nuts that hold the gear leg attach bolts in. Ok, that wasn't so bad. Next I thought I would put a couple of rivets in the main fuselage bulkhead that for some reason I had left out. (I'm pretty sure that I had done this because all those years ago I wasn't sure if I was going to do a tip up or a slider and those particular rivets are not installed for a tip up canopy. Anyway, they are in now.
Finally, I got out the Unibit and opened a hole in the bulkhead to allow the static line to run forward to its eventual attach point behind the instrument panel.
