Brief Description:  Brake line installation

Today was devoted to working on the brake lines. My plan was to route the fuel and brake lines through two tunnel brackets (my term) in order to have them firmly held in place and prevent any vibration or movement once installed. To do this meant that I had to "thread" the lines through the brackets and bend around the structure for the final fit.

The actual installation was relatively simple and I probably spent the most time working through the gear weldments to remain clear of the fuel lines. Once this was done it was pretty easy to make the necessary bends and finish up the flares. Everything was hand tightened and I moved to the foam insulation that I'm going to use for isolating the lines in the tunnel. Measure and cut...pretty mundane stuff. I plan to use adhesive to affix the insulation and ensure that there will be no moisture that can collect underneath but that is a project for another day.
