After spending the night wondering how I was going to get the stubborn bolt out of the fuselage, I returned to the hangar with my Dremel tool and renewed confidence. Using a cut off wheel, I removed as much of the bolt as I could reach, and then I switched to a carbide cutter to get the rest. Slow going, a couple of slips off of the bolt, and about 20 minutes later, I was able to remove the gear mount. That to me was a small victory.
Five minutes of carefully wacking on the bolt with a drift pin, and there was a satisfying "clunk" as it fell out of the hole. Ross lives nearby and was gracious enough to stop by and help me pull the wings off. Mission accomplished! Thanks to Ross and Dan for their help.
