Brief Description:  Forward fuselage

Today was a day for working on odds and ends on the forward fuselage. Chris rode out on his Vulcan and met me at the hangar and I put him to work drilling out the forward fuselage skin. While he was working on that I turned my attention to the various brackets that hold the instrument panel in place. Two of the brackets come pre made, but the rest have to be fabricated from angle stock, and while I had already made six of them, the two holding the upper part of the panel remained to be made.

After looking around for awhile, I finally found the necessary .032 angle where I had cleverly hidden it a couple of weeks ago (in plain sight) and cut, drilled and filed them to shape. After an initial coat of primer I decided that I'd quit for the day. Nut plates are about the only thing left to do on this.
