Attached fuel tank ribs and final drilled #30. After drilling the ribs, I worked to get the tank skin in place--due to the thickness of the skin, this was not easy! After gradually working the leading edge skin in place over the ribs, I was able to work aft and cleco the tank skin without much additional challenge. After ensuring the fit was suitable, I then drilled the tank skin to the joint plate. Then off comes the tank to the bench where I final drilled #40 all the tank-to-rib and tank-to-baffle holes. After this, I began fabricating the T-711 reinforcing brackets that run span-wise along the underside of the tank. These brackets serve to strengthen the tank skin between the ribs on the bottom of the tanks. Finally, I countersunk the three locations for platenuts on the inboard section of the spar.
