Brief Description:  Blizzard Cleanup

A week after the blizzard blew through, and thanks to several days of just above freezing temps, Tyler and I were finally able to get inside the hangar. We had tried to get in for several days, but the door tracks, wheels, etc. have been frozen solid. Today the ice was a bit softer and we were able to pry the doors open about 2 feet. Once inside, we could see that there was quite a watery mess to clean up, but to our surprise, no serious damage was done. I fired up the heater, grabbed some rags and started wiping things down. I pulled the snow soaked cardboard off my wood supply and found that it did a good job of keeping things dry and protected. My bandsaw table had a bit of rust on it, but I was able to wipe it off and apply some WD-40. Other items only required a quick wipedown. None of my working materials or hand tools were subject to the snow. Looks like I just need to dry out a bit and I can get back to work. So glad that things weren't worse.
