I cut the parts for the front rudder pedals some time ago, but have been saving them for a day where I didn’t have much else planned… today is the day I used an example that I saw on the EAA’s Hints for Homebuilders series and made a simple jig out of a piece of scrap plywood and finishing nails. This worked well to hold the parts in place while I tacked them. I finished welding in the vise and used my flattening press to flatten the ends where they will mount to the floor fittings.
