Brief Description: Cabane Struts

Went back to Markle's today to get my cabane struts. His vacuum bagging technique worked wonderfully... each strut came out of the bag solid and straight. We were tempted to get to work on them on his table saw, but I wanted to look them over for a few minutes before commiting to any cuts.
I went to the hangar this evening and ran these through the jointer in order to clean up the edges. They looked good and straight, so I though... eh, I'll go ahead and round these on the table router. Did that in 3 passes on each side, which kept the cuts a little easier on me, the router AND the wood. Came out great... some mild sanding to remove a couple of burnished areas and the LE was done.
The table saw cuts for the TE were the only difficult task remaining... I checked and double checked the angle I wanted... checked and double checked the thickness... then set up the saw. I'll be honest, the table saw scares me a little... way too easy to screw up parts, both wooden AND human. But, it is the best method sometimes... I took my time and they came out flawless. No chips, no dings, no gouges. Some light sanding and these are ready for varnish.
I left the TE blocked on purpose... I'll sand a radius prior to varnish.
