A nice warm day in mid-March, so I’ve decided to break out the POR15 cleaner and sealer. Per the instructions, I used the cleaner/degreaser followed by the metal prep solution. Using a heat gun, I thoroughly dried the inside of the tank before pouring and applying the sealer. If this stuff is as good as everyone claims, I’ll be real happy with this tank. There were no leaks to begin with, but this stuff flowed into every crevasse and seam to provide a bit more protection in these areas.
Note: The flat surfaces in the 3rd photo are the interior baffles, so the fact that they aren’t fully coated is a non-issue. The exterior surfaces are all coated.
