After waiting for the day to warm up from this morning, I set up a temporary paint table and gave all the metal fittings a final wipe down with acetone. After the wire wheel and acetone, these fittings were bright, shiny and ready for paint. I sprayed all fittings with 2 coats of Rust-O-Leum fast drying gloss black. I was able to flip all parts after two hours of applying the first coats. They were dry to the touch well before sundown, so I was able to hang them on copper welding rods inside the hangar for final drying, where they will hang until I need them. They all turned out great.
