Brief Description:  Engine Overhaul

Now that the engine is totally disassembled I will be able to start getting some of the other work done. The crank shaft will hopefully get magnafluxed this week, and I may get my cases and such to the shop for cleaning. Other parts will get catagorized for shipping to the appropriate service centers. Friday I found out that we will be visiting with the operator of Falcon Machine, which is where I planned to send my heads for work. Rather than pay for shipping both ways I plan to deliver them personally during our trip to Brodhead, WI in a couple of weeks.

The only damage I am aware of thus far is a cooling fin I broke off of one of the cylinders today. My butter fingers dropped it a mere 6" above a cardboard covered floor, but the impact was obviously enough to damage the delicate cooling fin. I've already got a couple of leads on a replacement.
