I got this idea from Tony Bingelis' book "Sportplane Builder". He recommended a smaller (30"x30") version for a different variety of tools, but I expanded on his idea a bit to include a lower tier for my drill press. Each tier is 24"D x 48"W... for an overall footprint of 48" x 48". I can tell that this will be a very handy piece of equipment.
