With everything cut, drilled and adjusted, I was able to install the lift struts and remove the supports.
Note: Life got pretty complicated here, so the log book entries become spread out a bit more. While I was still thinking about my project regularly, I wasn’t able to do as much as I wanted to for several months. Things slowed down a bit in the coming months, with more distractions and less time spent at the hangar. In the scheme of life, it was relatively short lived, and we eventually get back on track. While there wasn’t as much time spent, the things we were able to accomplish over the coming year were definitely good progress, and provided positive motivation.
