Brief Description: Fitting leading edge and tank - left
Spent hour removing fifth rib from tip and drilling a two large holes in flange to provide clearance for rivet in spar. Set up inboard most rib in leading edge for fitting W-919 splice strip. Fit splice strip to inboard most rib (W-0908L) and drilled using holes in leading edge skin as guides. Used entire strip provided in kit and marked excess for removal after I disassemble for deburring and priming. Mounted tank on spar in preparation for drilling matching holes in splice strip that connect the leading edge assembly to the tank assembly.
