Brief Description: Tie down plates and prep rear spar for riveting
Tapped holes for tie down fittings. Fabricated tie down plate for left wing cutting to size, drilling pilot hole per plans and then drilling attachment holes for plate and for aileron branckets. Drilled, countersunk plate nut attachement holes for K1000-3 plate nuts used to attache aileron brackets. Primed both left and right tie down plates (both left and right were fabricated several weeks ago but I broke off the tap die in the left one and had to replace it.) Set up left rear spar for riveting marking all holes that are to left open. Used bright red tap. I have a habit of ignoring my own markings and figured this would hold my attention.
