Brief Description: Left elevator riveting continued
Summary for the preceding week: Riveted left elevator counter balance to spar with great difficultly. Will revise method for dealing with counter balance subassembly when I do the right elevator and rivet the ribs to the spar before riveting the top skin to the spar and then complete the assembly of the counter balance. If I were to do the counter balance as specified in the instructions, then I will have a special bucking bar made to fit into the gap between the counter balance rib and the leading edge of the elevator. Riveted the gusset to the inboard rib and riveted the bottom skin to the spar using blind rivets for all locations.
