Brief Description: Completed VS; work on rudder spar and skins
Completed riveting of the skin to the VS skeleton. Put a cord through grommets to permit later wiring if desired. Completed riveting the R-904 rib and related parts to the bottom of the rudder spare Completed back riveting stiffeners to rudder skins. Unfortunately dented one skin because of going beyond the back rivet plate. Attempted repair by lightly pounding out with rivet gun only to end up stretching the skin and leaving a small bulge in the skin. Decided to replace the entire skin.
