Brief Description: Anticorrosion treatment of HS sparts
Spent time attempting to use a corrossion proofing HS parts. For the time being I intend to use a product from Sanchem, Sanchem CC6100. It is a water based, non-toxic treatment that places a corrossion resistant barrier on the surface as the result of a chemical reaction to the aluminum. Boeing and others are using the treatment. I was not convinced that the processed worked after three attempts. The indication is that the aluminum surface will exhibit a slightly gold hue. It did not seem to work. I'll discuss with Sanchem tomorrow.
