More rudder pedal stuff, tailwheel mount, misc: I finally got around to cutting the mouse hole at the back of the tailcone for the tailwheel spring mount. I used a cutoff wheel in the dremel to rough shape, and cleaned it up with a cutter bit and small sanding drums, plus some emery cloth. I also cut the lightening holes in the rudder pedal support, and forgot to change the size of the cutter for the second hole. It would probably work, but I may get a new part (I need to pay more attention!)
Cut easily with the table saw.
Middle hole is the wrong size.
Mostly symmetrical, and the funky shape fits the mount well.
