The fuselage carriage that came with the glider was in shambles. It had 2 paint jobs, rust was showing, one of the wheels was broken and some welding work was required on one of the folding arms. So, bought some new wheels, scrubbed the carriage, repainted, made some new brackets, new cotter pins, etc. Looks and works great now. I fabricated the bottom part of the instrument panel tray that joins the panel to the frame. I am still waiting on the EFIS to arrive, could be another 2-3 weeks. Another concern is the clearance between the aileron control and my right knee. I cannot make any final determination until the seat (hammock) is in. I had to order some grommets and a grommet punch from McMaster before I can install the hammock seat and really get a feel for head clearance and such.
