After thinking long and hard about how I wanted to add access panels to my turtle deck I decided that I would create large access panels that would allow for servicing of the instruments and avionics as well as facilitate the removal of the cabin brace rods when they need to be repainted. So, although I already had the holes cabin brace holes in place I decided to throw away the 2 hours I put into making the previous holes and march forward. I made a stencil and used my tin snips to cut out some holes. I used a half round file to clean up the edges. It took about 3 hours in total to cut and smooth the edges.
