I decided that instead of using a rubber gromet in the (2) holes through which the cabin braces pass through the turtle deck that I would dimple those holes. Having recently purchased a 15-ton hydraulic 10 die knocout punch off ebay for $200, I wanted to make dimple dies to accompany all the cutting dies. Unfortunately my mini-lathe makes this task very time consuming and therefore I decided to only make 2 of the 10 sizes for now. In case you are wondering, knock-out dies are sized for electrical conduit outter pipe diameters, so purchasing standard dimple dies e.g. 1", 2", 3" would not be compatible.
