After returning from a 2 week trip in Beijing China to visit the in-laws it is time to make some more progress in the airplane factory. I used the scotch-brite wheel to get the cabin brace rods down to bare metal before priming and painting black. I also received the dimple die from aircraft spruce today, so I was able to finish the 2 plates on the rear (PF-117L and PF-117R). It is not clear yet why the side rivets must be flush and the bottom rivets dome, but I will find out soon enough. I also removed most of the superficial rust on PF-194. Next task will be to get the ASS-003 and AS-004 in place now that I received some drawings from Bushcaddy and the L-164 community.
