Brief Description: Purchased wood and hardware from Home Depot
I would like to point out that this is my first log entry and have been waiting anxiously for some time to get started on this project. This evening I purchased the wood required to build the work bench. The manual calls for 159.5" x 12" x 5/8" sections to establish the length of the workbench, but the closest I could find was 144" x 12" x 1" premium cut pine. The nice thing about these pieces of wood is that they are not warped and cut well. I will also be using 2x6 for the legs instead of 4x4., I will also be using casters and adjustable feet. I also purchased some 3/4" MDF for the table top. Kudos to my dad for helping me move it into the garage.
