Step 5 After curing, rough sand fairing along tape lines with 60 grit sandpaper until reaching outer layer of electrical tape, then switched to 100 grit paper to sand through to the first layer of tape. Remove outer layer layer of electrical tape and sand, using 150 grit until you just start seeing marks in the tape. Brush on heavy coating of epoxy overlapping into the tape and let harden.
