Brief Description:  Brake calipers and fairing brackets

Prepped and primed wheel and brake parts... wheel fairing brackets and axle lock nut.

Prepped the brake calipers which included removing the brake pads and installing the AN422-4D elbow fittings for the brake line. The calipers were supplied both in the same configuration which meant that one side had to have the bleed nipple and AN fitting reversed.

The U-807 brackets did not seem to fit exactly correct. In photo #2, the bracket is shown just in place and it shows where contact is made above the bolt pattern on the gear leg which prevents it from sitting flush. After torquing the AN4 bolts to proper torque, the brackets sit flush around the bolt pattern as evident in photo #3. My options were to trim the bracket or try to put a bend it, or just leave as is. I attempted to bend it, but the bracket is thick and it appeared that bending could cause more deformation in areas not wanted. In the end, I torqued the bolts to spec and got a flush fit, and pressed on.
