After applying the plans specified 240 in.lbs torque to the U-803 attach bolts, I did not have the specificied .030" clearance between U-803 and the wear plate above it in some places. This was the case on the aft end of the starboard gear and the forward end of the port gear. So following the plans, I removed the U-803's and will file off a few thousandth's .
Re-installed the 45deg fittings for the fuel vent lines in the gear towers that had been removed to access the gear bolts. Also inventoried wheel brake and axle parts to prep for installation.
