Mounted the GRT dual AHRS unit. The box is relatively small and can be mounted in a few different locations. Many mount this in the tail cone spanning the longerons, but the turtle deck comes riveted in my quickbuild kit (this is not the case I believe in current kits) so access to the tail cone is not good. I choose to mount the unit as shown just forward of the instrument panel. Pros and cons both ways. The bracket is robust and with it bolted to the fuselage cross braces, it should see very little movement. The matching remote compass units that individually pair with each AHRS unit will be wingtip mounted. I was able to get the AHRS leveled to 0.1* as shown on the digital level.
