worked on misc floorboard issues. a homemade nutplate jig had somehow ended up the wrong dimensions and thus caused some nutplates to be misaligned for the removeable floorboards i'm using. i slightly enlargened some of the rivet holes attaching the nutplates on just one side and this so far has been sufficient to install the nutplates.
also began marking the hole locations for the c-804 and c-805 canopy rail slider. the c-804 is almost 1/4" short. calling van's tomorrow to see about just slightly modifying the rivet spacing in the last few rivets and then trimming c-805 to match the length. other option is order a new 48" strip of .063 sheet. the only issue would be if the canopy actually slides back that far, which i don't think it does.
tonight was basically 10 minutes of work stretched into 3 hours. one of those frustrating, apparently unproductive nights. the work continues...
