finished some final, minor fabrication of the throttle quadrant. spent some time going back through plans.
fit and drilled NACA intake scoops for cabin air. the molded plastic intake comes with the kit and is normally bonded to the inside fuse and wing skin. i'm adding some rivets to the attachment as well, so i made a thin backing plate from .020 sheet to go under the rivet shop head to it won't deform the molded plastic. the outside pattern was easy to cut with snips, but the inside hole was cut with a router bit in the dremel.
i'll wait to actually bond and rivet until i get a complete mock install of the interior, and just prior to painting.
