drilled forward holes in F445 flap actuator bearing. final drilled flap actuator. fit flap motor. surprised to find that i had to enlargen the pre-cut hole in the arm rest for the flap motor to pass. ran the motor with a 9-volt battery 5 times to check proper clearance. no interference with the arm rest.
the only issue to follow up on is that when the motor is run to "flaps up" posit, the motor actually hits the underside of the armrest. i suspect it will not travel that far when actually moving the flaps, but i'll check it at assembly.
considering running tubing thru which i can run the motor wiring. i've seen other builders do this and run it under the flooring to keep it protected and out of the way.
