began fitting cabin flooring. clecoed in flooring and match drilled screw holes for nutplates. i'm installing the flooring with all nutplates instead of the pop rivets called for in the plans. francois made a nutplate jig to make the drilling go easier. i drilled some of flooring slightly off center and this causes the screw to be very close to the rib webs. to ease in nutplate installation, i'm going to use the single lug style in the tight spots. finished installing rudder cables. since the rudder cable routing required enlarging the holes in the f-804 anodized bulkhead, i shot a bit of primer around the hole before inserting the grommets.
thinking of installing the rear baggage floor and shelf with nutplates as well. will add considerable work, but might be useful down the road for maintenance access.
