Fabricated brackets for mounting strobe light power supply, autopilot controller and efis magnetometer. Per manufacturer recommendation, the magnetometer should be placed at least 24" from any ferrous material. This is difficult in the RV-8 fuselage with the empennage mounting, canopy slider track hardware, and rudder cable runs in the aft tube. The way to tackle this appears to be with brass hardware for the 4 aft-most slider track fastener locations.
For all three of these brackets, I'm using 3/4" angle fastened to the longerons with brass hardware where needed to make the 24" spacing to the magnetometer. Slow progress climbing in and out of aft fuselage.
