Spent a while inspecting the entire fuselage structure for any signs of damage (see 9/24/09 post for the causal factor). I could not find evidence of damage or significant stress. After recreating the event, I feel there is a low probability of damage and there cetainly is none evident. I will get some second opinions. Had a knowledgable, repeat RV builder take a look and he concurred.
In the meantime, I pressed on with the battery tray. I made the assembly for the firewall mounting location. All parts were fabricated, drilled and deburred per the plans. Just need prime & paint.
