began rudder pedal installation. this is one area where the quickbuild fuselage kit could be modified from the factory. you have to drill out 4 rivets. i think the factory could leave these holes open (taped over) to avoid drilling out the rivets. maybe the inflight adjustable rudders don't use these rivet holes, but for the ground adj version, this is an inconvenience. not terribly difficult, but anytime a rivet gets drilled out, the hole inevitably gets modified. anyway, assembled, measured layout. dimensions were per plans, so i match drilled the rudder pedal axles to the brake cylinder arm. then fit & drilled the j8108 attach angles to the floor. clecoed assembly into fuselage.
