Two more rounds of sand and fill were needed to get the finish to a point that the first coat of Filler/Primer would be most beneficial. The four parts were cleaned, wiped with a tack rag, then primed. Sure enough, hidden pinholes became evident.
This will be allowed to cure overnight before another round of pin hole filling.
