With the Cowling Cheek Attach Strips installed, I decided to take a look at how the engine cowling would fit. The first step was to mount a ¼” thick, 13” diameter, Masonite disc to the back of the prop flange.
The center of the forward cowling was trimmed away with a jig saw, enabling it to fit against the rear of the Masonite disc.
It needs a little trimming, but is pretty close right out of the box.
