The exterior of the tail fairing first four layers was rough sanded to remove high spots and to provide a good grip for the next two layers.
“Right Stuff” insulating foam sealant was applied to the vertical stabilizer intersection with the fuselage the previous evening, and sanded to a ¾” radius this morning. It worked out well enough that I decided to give the horizontal stabilizer the same treatment. This will cure overnight.
Fiberglass was cut for two more layers that I hope to apply tomorrow.
Additional sanding was started, to thin down the overly thick areas of the canopy skirt, for a better appearance.
