I ordered and received the Earl’s plumbing and ACS components for the fuel system from the wing tanks to the firewall. I changed to a four-way fuel valve for a more intuitive fuel selector function, and to improve the system compactness. The Jiffy quick connect fittings are immediately adjacent to the selector valve for easy preflight inspection, and within easy reach if a problem arises.
The fuel pumps will be mounted on 3/8” risers to accommodate standard fitting dimensions below the fuel selector.
The new fuel selector stem will be shortened and a flat cut on the end, to get the control lever down close to the face plate.
