Today, mounting of the foam/carpet blocks began. The firewall, forward floor, and left seat area were completed. There were a few areas where I did not leave enough room for the carpet that is rolled around the sides of the foam, and some minor surgery was required on the foam. But, the results look good, and the difference in sound deadening between panels with and without the blocks glued in place, is VERY significant.
In the photos, the carpeting looks mottled as a result of lighting shadows.
