I spent a couple of hours today assembling the left rear spar alignment plate, and fabricating mounting spacers for the spar pin retainers.
I am using McMaster-Carr #1171A69, plastic tool holders to retain the spar pins in the locked position. These will be screwed to 5/8” thick linen Phenolic plates that will be adhered to the inside of the fuselage skin with tank sealant to eliminate the need for fasteners through the skin.
