Brief Description: Prepped the Right Map Pocket for Mounting
The Left wing was removed today and moved to a work bench for additional work. The right map pocket was trial fit, but the aileron joiner mounting bolt interfered with the lower surface of the pocket. The fix was simple, the bottom of the pocket was marked at the point of interference, and a 5/8” hole was drilled in the bottom using a step drill.
The rivet holes in the pocket and the forward fuselage were too tight for the 3/32” clecos, so the holes were opened up to 3/32”. The pocket was remounted and fit well.
