Brief Description:  Left Forward Fuselage Skin

One of my neighbors came over to help me remove the left wing and set it on a work bench for some minor adjustments. I did not have a tool with enough throat to dimple the rear fuel tank panels, so he also brought over his squeezer so I could complete that task.

While the left wing was off, I removed the left forward skin so the aileron paddle cutout and fuel line disconnect stiffeners could riveted in place. Since I had the squeezer, I decided to use solid rivets to attach these stiffeners since the rivets would be visible from both sides, and the solid rivets would look better than the shop heads of pulled rivets. So, I cut some solid domed rivets to length, and used the squeezer to mount the aileron paddle cutout stiffener. The opening for the fuel line disconnect stiffener was too small for the squeezer, so a rivet gun was used to set these rivets.
