Brief Description:  Aft Floor Installation, Wing Removal, and Engine S

This morning, riveting of the aft, bottom skin was completed except for the rearmost three feet. The remainder will be riveted after the plane is moved upstairs to the hangar, and the empennage is permanently attached.

I asked my neighbor over again to help remove the wings and place them back in the wing rack. With that completed, the foam and carpet blocks were permanently installed on the floor of the baggage compartment.

The rest of the day was spent completing the design of a wood sled that will be used to move the engine from the basement shop, up to the hangar. The engine will be mounted on the sled and pulled up the steps with a ratcheting Come-Along.
