The visit with the EAA Chapter 650 went very well yesterday. They were impressed with the quality of the Panther kit and the complete machining of most of the components, which obviates the need for significant fabrication work.
The reinforcements for bulkheads #3 and #4 were clamped in position, match-drilled to the bulkheads, then clecoed in place.
The Aft deck was up-drilled to #30 then clecoed in place.
Rivet hole locations were marked at the intersection of bulkheads #1 and #2 and the upper longerons, then clecoed together.
Up- drilled the rivet holes at the intersection of the aft deck and former #4.
Clecoed the elevator push tube and top cover in place, then drilled the rivet holes at the intersection of the top cover and bulkhead #1.
