The vertical tail mount was temporarily clamped to the aft end of the upper longerons. The two bulkhead # 4 reinforcements were deburred and polished, then clamped to bulkhead #4 and the upper longerons, match-drilled to bulkhead# 4 and clecoed in place.
I temporarily mounted the vertical tail in place for a show & tell this weekend. EAA chapter 650 is conducting an “aircraft review” where chapter members drive sequentially to several of the local experimental aircraft builder’s sites, to learn about the aircraft under construction, the construction techniques for their particular design, and check on construction progress.
